Created by legendary Oregon breeder DJ Short in the 1970s–80s using Afghani, Thai, and Purple Thai genetics, Blueberry became famous for its striking blue and purple hue expression and pronounced sweet blueberry aroma from an unusual terpene composition. A stable, resinous indica-dominant strain with relaxing, euphoric effects. Blueberry won the 2000 High Times Cannabis Cup and became a foundational parent of Blue Dream.
